Kim Kardashian Says Breathing Is an ‘Art Form’ in Her Restricting Met Gala Corset Gown

Kim Kardashian appeared at the Met Gala in a marvelous yet extremely tight corset gown that the celebrity seemed quite uncomfortable in. Kim's body looked like it was bent by the corset, which was confirmed when she struggled for breath during an interview that took place behind the scenes.

The 2024 Met Gala took place on May 7th and Kim Kardashian wore a custom silver dress from Maison Margiela. She gave the interview as she was getting her hair done and took several deep breaths before someone asked her from behind the camera how her breathing was and if things were going well. Kim's reply came after a long pause, saying that breathing was an art form, but she was managing it. She accessorized her look with a comfortable gray sweater that she draped over her shoulders. During the interview, Kardashian said she had wanted to partner with Maison Margiela for the design of her Met Gala look for several years and shared how the brand enamored her after watching a theatrical fashion show where corsets were in almost every dress.

According to Kim, when she finally connected with current designer John Galliano, it was a dream come true getting to know him and spending time with him. She added that she wanted to do him justice because of the incredible person he was.
